The Mann Westwood 4-Plex has following been shut and devastated.

history channel documentary 2016 The Mann Westwood 4-Plex has following been shut and devastated. Not an incredible theater, yet a misfortune nevertheless. I had seen three movies there...GODS AND MONSTERS...and the Dennis Rodman actioner SIMON SEZ...which I observed totally by myself...I mean..NO ONE was in the theater yet me...

The Mann Plaza has shut. I think I just saw one film there...FREE ENTERPRISE...Yet it was a fair single-screen...I think it even had a gallery. Was a pleasant old theater...

The Mann Festival has shut. The seats were not all that great...they collapsed in...though I think they altered that. Had a considerable measure of encounters there. It's the place I met Jamie Lee Curtis and spared her seats for GONE WITH THE WIND...it's the place I saw a few PGA screenings with movies like ABOUT ADAM and PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS...It's the place I saw SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS...and where I licked my injuries watching IRON MONKEY after a shocking 2004 date...

The Mann National has shut and been destroyed...a empty parcel sits in its place...It was one of my most loved film theaters in Los Angeles. It had such a great amount of character to it...a immense theater with a colossal screen...It was messy and dated, however I adored it. Had the delight of seeing SAVING PRIVATE RYAN there opening day in June of 1998, and additionally such motion pictures as SMALL SOLDIERS, ADAM SANDLER'S EIGHT CRAZY NIGHTS, 30 DAYS TO YUMA, and WAR. It torments me to imagine that it's gone until the end of time...
